Over the last few weeks, three students from the Johannes-Kepler-Gymnasium in Garbsen have written their technical thesis in the field of forming technology in cooperation with the IFUM and the Collaborative Research Centre 1153. They worked on a wide variety of topics from the areas of material characterisation, numerical simulation and bulk metal forming. The questions developed by the students were analysed with the support of the scientific staff. For this purpose, experimental tests were carried out on the institute's facilities. The IFUM and the SFB 1153 congratulate the students on successfully completing the task.
