CRC 1153 exhibited a large number of hybrid demonstrators, including primary materials, formed semi-finished products and finished components. A particular highlight was the innovative measuring system for in-line measurement of die wear in forming dies.
The exhibition attracted a large number of visitors from industry and research, who showed great interest in the technologies on display. Many interesting discussions were held and the feedback was consistently positive. The practical relevance and the potential of the presented developments for industrial applications were particularly emphasised.
The CRC 1153 booth also received prominent visitors: Falko Mohrs, Lower Saxony's Minister for Science and Culture, and State Secretary Prof. Joachim Schachtner were informed about the latest research results and progress of CRC 1153.
Participating in Hannover Messe 2024 was a valuable opportunity for CRC 1153 to present its research to a wide audience and to make new contacts. The team is already looking forward to future events to promote the further development of hybrid forming processes.
